DECTRA and its network of Reps and Dealers can provide all of the materials necessary for your energy efficient and comfortable radiant floor heating system. In fact, DECTRA personnel have been providing radiant design assistance and materials since 1985. Projects to date include: single family homes; dormitories; cabinet shops; dining halls; offices; warehouses; churches; auditoriums; garages; natural resource facilities; greenhouses; etc.
DECTRA recommends and provides the ComfortPro® brand of products for radiant floor heating installations (www.comfortprosystems.com). Comfort Pro® utilizes oxygen barriered natural UV PEX-A tubing coupled with stainless steel manifolds that incorporate individual flow control for each PEX loop. In addition, a full line of accessories is available that is tailored specifically for each project.
Below are three pictures. The first picture illustrates the "walk out" level of a residence with PEX tubing stapled to proper sub-grade insulation (2" rigid foam board). Picture taken just before the concrete floor was poured.
The second picture illustrates the primary distribution manifold of a large church project. Each of the 7 lower pumps feeds a remote radiant floor manifold. Note the 3 way mixing valve on the left side of the picture and the flat plate heat exchanger in the upper left for a future snow melt system. This picture was taken before the project was completed.
The final picture illustrates the "walk out" level of a residence with PEX tubing tied to welded wire mesh proper sub-grade insulation (2" rigid foam board). Picture taken just before the concrete floor was poured.
