Hello to all,

Eureka!!!, my GARN is feeding heat into my home. Sorry for the delay, but it took a couple extra days to get it buttoned up. Now to get additional zones installed and a domestic hot water source. The temperature right now isn't that cold so we'll see how the firing rate changes over the next months.

I can't believe the smallest amount of smoke that is exhausted. This does indicate to me that I'm getting all of the usable energy from the firewood.

When I first fired it up it raised the temperature 140 degrees in three hours on one wheel barrel full of wood. Maintaining so far is about seven pieces of firewood with a two hour burn. I have set aside four measured cords of wood specifically for the GARN. This is just to see how much I'll need for the season.
